Watch this. Everyone. Then tell me what you think.  I’m absolutely the WORST about following global news (and local news, doesn’t matter where I’m living), and I have a suuuper ambivalent relationship with the Internet right now (it’s like the whole gringo world right at your fingertips! wait.. not the point of being here), but I think that Global Voices is a really interesting idea.  Maybe I would hate myself less for spending too much time online if I was looking at interesting bits of cultural exchange rather than cute animals or meaningless posts from people I went to high school with… Regardless, I think this is worthwhile 20 minutes for my informed-about-the-world friends, my Internet/social-media-savvy friends, and EVERYONE on study abroad.
